Weekend sales are returning to Mr. K's this summer!  Every Saturday and Sunday receive 20% off the selected genre throughout the summer with the exception of July 4th weekend. This weekend, June 26 & 27, all used mystery pocketbooks will be on sale. Trade credit does not apply however.

Be on the watch for your favorite category of books!!

Spring has sprung and summer is almost here! Yeah!  We are in the process of spring cleaning and getting ready for a busy summer at Mr. K's. We also have new shelves in the Johnson City, Asheville and Greenville stores. Come in and see our new look!

School summer reading will begin soon so please bring in your reading list so we can gather used copies or order new copies if used are not available. All books at Mr. K's are discounted, both used and new!

We now buy and sell records. Yes, vinyl records! Remember them? Well, they're coming back and we have them in the Asheville, Oak Ridge and Greenville stores. If you live in Johnson City and you want that store to carry vinyl, please tell the staff!

December '09 Update

The holidays are a very exciting time at Mr. K's! Our buyers have purchased a super selection of new books that will certainly help with your gift giving this year. The new books are arriving daily and priced the Mr. K's discounted way! They range in categories from arts and crafts to children, cookbooks, sports, history and more. And don't forget about our CDs, DVDs, Books-on-CDs, and Video Games! Drop in and find great gifts for the special people on your holiday list! And have a super and safe holiday season!

November '09 Update

A special thanks to everyone that shopped with us on Sunday, October 24. We pledged to donate 20% of all sales for that day to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help fund a cure for breast cancer. We are pleased to say that that percentage amount came to $966 and Mr. K's add the extra to make it an even $1000. We are happy to help with that worthy cause!

Mr. K's is pleased to announce that we opened our Greenville, SC store on September 1. We are in the Verdae Village Shopping Center, 101 Verdae Blvd., next to Steinmart at I-85 and Laurens Road. This location has approximately 10,000 sq ft and plenty of parking! Come see us!
