We're finally ready! Mr. K's North Charleston opens its doors this Saturday, October 22 at 9:00! It's located at 5070 International Blvd in the McCall Center. If you're in the area, please stop by and check it out! It's in a great space, over 10,000 sq ft, with great people to help you find the book, cd, dvd, comic, vinyl record, video game (you get my drift) that you just have to have! And if you've wondered if there really is a Mr. K, word on the street has it that he will be at the opening. He'll be the happy but tired guy that has worked very hard, along with many others who are greatly appreciated, to get this all going.

Saturday, April 16 is Record Store Day and in case you hear, Mr. K's carries vinyl records in all four stores. Another news flash, Mr. K's in Oak Ridge and Greenville, S.C. now carries comic books. A lot of comic books. Around 3500 in each store. We buy and sell them. Drop by and pick some up for the super hero in your life!

Goodbye winter! Spring's around the corner! We're looking forward to warm weather, daylight savings time, grilling out and spring cleaning. Spring cleaning? If you do clean out, you can bring your unwanted books, cds, dvds and records to the Mr. K's nearest you! We will evaluate your items and exchange for cash or trade depending on stock supply, condition and age limits. We will strive to make your shopping experience at Mr. K's a good one. Weekend sales are returning to Mr. K's this summer! Every Saturday and Sunday receive 20% off the selected genre throughout the summer with the exception of July 4th weekend. This weekend, June 26 & 27, all used mystery pocketbooks will be on sale. Trade credit does not apply however.

Spring has sprung and summer is almost here! Yeah! We are in the process of spring cleaning and getting ready for a busy summer at Mr. K's. We also have new shelves in the Johnson City, Asheville and Greenville stores. Come in and see our new look!
School summer reading will begin soon so please bring in your reading list so we can gather used copies or order new copies if used are not available. All books at Mr. K's are discounted, both used and new!
We now buy and sell records. Yes, vinyl records! Remember them? Well, they're coming back and we have them in the Asheville, Oak Ridge and Greenville stores. If you live in Johnson City and you want that store to carry vinyl, please tell the staff!

Mr. K's is pleased to announce that we opened our Greenville, SC store on September 1. We are in the Verdae Village Shopping Center, 101 Verdae Blvd., next to Steinmart at I-85 and Laurens Road. This location has approximately 10,000 sq ft and plenty of parking! Come see us!
